I am so so so excited to finally show off this amazing wedding- meet Danielle and Armando!

This wedding was so special for so many reasons. Not only were these two so fun and easy to photograph, but they are a couple of my dearest friends. From mission trips, psych classes, retreats, and all the other fun things that come with a college degree, these two have been close friends of mine through it all and that just makes every part of the day even more special.

What a fun way to start the day, in a house full of family and friends! Danielle snagged this awesome Airbnb home to spend the weekend. With a wedding party this large, this home was ideal for a sleepover with all 10 girls and then plenty of space for everyone to get ready in the morning.

The highlight of the Airbnb house? Uhhh, the view, duh! This place is located up in the Winona bluffs and has an amazing view of the great Mississippi.

Shout outs to the amazing work of Kaylene Nelson at Sola Seven Salon and makeup by Armando's aunt, Thera Castro.

What a find! This dress was absolutely meant for Danielle- the lace, the detail, the train- absolute perfection!

Even after months and months of planning a wedding, I think it is when the dress finally comes on, that all the emotions really hit hard... especially for this beautiful mama!

Let's just say, this house was full of mimosas, hairspray, and oh so many smiles!

Now, enough getting ready... by this point, I think these two were pretty ready to finally see each other.

Armando gifted Danielle with a beautiful Tiffany & Co. bracelet with the perfect little heart charm and you tell by that look in his eyes that he is absolutely ready to give her his whole heart.

Back story: For those not familiar with Saint Mary's University, this chapel is much more than just a beautiful wedding location. This chapel is the home of a great tradition of TEC retreats and is a place where so many students have made amazing friendships and deepened their faith, and for this awesome couple, this is the place Armando proposed to Danielle!

Every piece of this day was sentimental and meaningful- even down to this very pew, where Armando proposed. It is those pieces of a wedding, those special touches and the intimate details, that make each wedding so special!

And now this chapel will always be remembered as the place these two became man and wife. Here comes the bride...

Armando and Danielle planned their wedding to include both of their family's traditions, including the incorporation of both Spanish and English throughout the wedding. Fun Fact: The priest that married Danielle and Armando also married Armando's parents- now that's a family tradition!

Did I mention how beautiful, special, awesome and perfect this chapel is?

Now, let's meet the greatest wedding party ever!

Fun fact: That giant rock-like thing you see in the background is Winona's signature landmark, Sugar Loaf. Yes, a very odd name, but it has the best view in town!

Now, who's ready for some dinner, dancing, toasts, and a few smooches... oh yeah, it is reception time!

Only a few tears were shed in the making of these toasts.

Look at this SMUcrew- all the Saint Mary's students & grads (don't worry, I made sure to jump in too)!

Some may recognize this space as "the caf" but boy, we twisted, shook and shimmied it into an epic dance floor!
