If you like kilts, cats, big families, bagpipes, pretty people and an adorable couple you'll love this wedding day- meet Allie and Andrew! I went to high school with Allie's sisters and have known this family for many years. In September, I was honored to fly out to Hershey, PA to photograph one of Allie's older sister's wedding- check out the blog from their wedding here!

Allie and Andrew's wedding was such a fun, special and unique day. The morning began in Allie's childhood home. The ladies, including her 4 sisters, enjoyed a morning full of donuts, mimosas, and of course Nelson's sandwiches, the deli a couple blocks away where all the girls worked during high school. We didn't have to go too far for some beautiful spots for photos, we headed down the road to Como Park and then ran across the street to Allie's church for the ceremony. The day continued onto the Macalester College campus with a reception full of sweet speeches, live music, even more bagpipes, kaylee dancing, and a full night of fun!

Allie and Andrew have strong Scottish backgrounds and incorporated Scottish traditions into every part of their day. Andrew is an incredible bagpiper, competing internationally. Allie plays the drums in the pipe band and has been Scottish dancing since she was a child, also competing internationally! Needless to say, these two are incredibly talented and make the perfect Scottish duo. The day included groomsmen in kilts, bagpipe entrances, a dance floor full of bagpipes and Scottish dancing, andm  Scottish accents from Allie's relatives who flew across the pond to celebrate!
