This beautiful outdoor venue and these sweet, smiling faces made for the perfect summer wedding day- Meet Camille and Allen! Rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck, and it must be true for these two, who pushed through a rainy morning to enjoy a perfect sunny afternoon and reception.
Working with Camille and Allen was so easy, they were so excited to be together and to celebrate their love with all their family and friends. The ceremony was sweet and intimate and then the evening gave-way to a relaxed night of dancing, laughing and a great big pig roast!
From the lace detail, to the buttons, to the open back, this dress was made for Camille and boy, did she rock it!
These two were so excited to finally see each other! Camille was ready to do the first look before I stepped into the room and before she had even stepped into her dress. She so badly wanted to see her soon-to-be husband, and you can tell by that smile that he couldn't wait to see his soon-to-be wife.
Although rain on your wedding day is good luck (and don't worry, they got plenty of it), we had the perfect chunk of time and just enough sunshine to explore this beautiful venue and capture some really special shots.
Shout out to this great venue, the Luce Line Orchard in Watertown, MN. This family owned farm offers everything from hay rides and corn mazes to thousands of apple trees and acres of grapes. And what a perfect backdrop for this couple's big day!
It was also very important for Allen to get a photo with his truck, especially with the tailgate that was painted by his grandfather- what a special piece and a great way to incorporate his memory into their wedding.
Did I mention how much I loved this venue? So many fun places to explore and shoot! The only bummer came when the rain decided to start back up. Luckily, we were able to find just enough cover to continue capturing the day.
And so it begins, the start of their lives together and the official start of this happy family!
This adorable 6 year old is Allen's son, Axten. He loves exploring, laughing, chewing gum and collecting Pokemon cards. He was such a great kid the whole day and he was right by his dad's side as they established this awesome family!
Shout out to the officiant, Linda Reinert! She was so engaging and loving towards the couple and had a great message about grace and mercy and how important they are in a marriage.
The unity sand ritual was the perfect way to represent the start of this new happy family! It was made even more special by the music provided by Lauren Keyes, Camille's high school friend and bridesmaid.
Joy, happiness, excitement... yeah, that's how I'd begin to describe this day!
Shout out to Pigs Unlimited from Elk River, MN for a delicious dinner! Should I feel bad about photographing my dinner and then happily devouring him? I hope not, because it was well worth it!
Shout out to Nothing Bundt Cakes for these adorable and delicious mini bundt cupcakes and gorgeous iced wedding cake!
