Beautiful day, gorgeous bride, sentimental venue, and all of it happening in my absolute favorite town (hint hint, it'll always be Winona) - Meet Shea and Jake.

These two met at Saint Mary's University of MN (which is also where I met both of them) and they quickly became friends and then shortly after Shea asked him out, or so she says! Their friendship just blossomed and they grew in deeper love and affection for each other. These two are great example of a couple not only excited for their wedding, but for their marriage and everything to come after this day. They have been so great to work with through this whole process and all the planning and the same was true the day of. Let's just say, these best friends are ready to start their lives together.

Shea surprised her bridesmaids with a sweet necklace for them to wear for the day!

Now, let's see what the gentlemen were up to!

You may recognize this house, or at least the view, from a past blog (Danielle and Armando's | Winona Wedding). What a perfect place to get ready- huge house, awesome view, and it's a local Airbnb!

This house was full of surprises. The first thing I heard when I walked in was, "Janie! There's a poker table downstairs! We don't know how to play, but can we pretend?"

This was my first wedding where the couple chose to not do a first look; they wanted to wait until the moment she was walking down the aisle. However, we were able capture this special moment between Shea and Jake before the wedding, being careful that they didn't actually see each other.

They both admitted that this sweet and simple moment to hold hands was so special and calmed all their nerves.

Since Jake and Shea didn't see each other before the wedding it gave me lots of time to spend with Shea and the bridesmaids. Let's just say, I love the combination of gorgeous ladies, big windows and a little extra time on a wedding day.

Here comes the bride!
This wedding was filled with such excitement and joy from all those involved, and for Shea's parents, a big day for their only daughter.

This chapel is so beautiful and sentimental for many in Winona and especially Saint Mary's students, and now, for this amazing couple, this is the chapel they became man and wife.

You may even recognize this chapel from my past blogs (This was my second of three weddings here this year (I know, lucky photographer me!!).

Then, when everyone headed to the reception, I had a little time to spend with just Shea and Jake. This chapel makes the absolute best best backdrop inside and out!

Let's celebrate!

After some toasts, tears and hugs I was able to steal Shea and Jake away one more time to capture some smiles on the green of the golf course. Shout out to Westfield Golf Club for their hospitality, beautiful venue, and this supreme backdrop!

Over and over and over throughout the day I heard, "I am marrying my best friend today" from both of these two. And wow, was that true! These two were meant for each other and are each other's support, love and best friends.

Shout out to all the Saint Mary's University alums, the Sisters of Sigma Alpha Iota, and the Brothers of Phi Mu Alpha.

Shout out to all those who worked to create the perfect day for Jake and Shea:
